We offer several courses of firearms training:

CCW- Concealed Firearm Training.

Class Overview:  This class will qualify you to obtain the endorsement to carry a concealed firearm in accordance with state statute. Our instructors and coaches are highly trained and are willing to share their knowledge and skills to help you succeed with the fundamentals of firearms training. This is a mandated 8 hour program.

Topics that are covered: Responsibility and liability, chapter 563 RSMo- Use of Force, chapter 571 RSMo- Firearms and weapons, fundamentals of marksmanship, safe gun handling, cleaning & maintenance of a firearm and live      fire exercises.

 

Student needs: Government issued identification card
                      100 rounds of semi-automatic ammo
                      100 rounds of revolver ammo
                      Hearing protection
                      Eye protection (prescription glasses are ok)
                      Clothing suitable for outdoor activities
                      Baseball cap or hat with brim is recommended                        

 

 

CCW II - Principles of Defensive Pistol

Class Overview: This course is designed for those who have completed a CCW course or for the person who already possesses sound firearms handling and safety skills.  We will be addressing the realities of a confrontation and provide you with proven tactics and skills to effectively fight with your firearm.  We start with the fundamentals and work up. This course will teach you how to shoot and move and effectively seek out and use cover as well as address multiple threats.

Topics Covered:    

Drawing techniques                               Dealing with malfunctions

Tactical reloading                                  Environmental awareness

Giving verbal commands                        Utilize cover

Shooting on the move                            Multiple threat engagements

 

Student needs: 

Pistol with minimum 300 rounds                                   3 magazines or speed loaders

Holster – to be worn on dominant side hip                     Hearing protection

Eye protection (prescription glasses are ok)                    Baseball cap or hat with brim

Bag to carry equipment to firing line                              Proper attire for working out doors
